Life is so many things! It can be heavy, beautiful, confusing, messy, joyful, or all of the above. I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship where we can explore what feels congruent with your most authentic self by strengthening and empowering that inner voice we all have. I hope to provide an open and non-judgemental space for you to unpack the relationships and events that have impacted and shaped you and a space to unpack the struggles and victories you are experiencing in your everyday life.
Do you feel like your partner isn’t hearing you no matter how much you try to communicate? Do you struggle to communicate at all or feel yourself shutting down? I believe conflict has a bad reputation in relationships, when the real concern is emotional disconnection. I hope to help couples reconnect and begin to speak each other’s languages again on a level where they can work together and find what works uniquely for each couple. I hope to identify cycles and patterns couples tend to get stuck in and provide tools and strategies for each partner to emotionally connect and break those cycles in a space that feels safe and comfortable for each partner to communicate their emotions and experiences.
I received a dual Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Family and Marriage Counseling at Jacksonville University. I have experience practicing EFT and Gottman Therapy with couples and practicing EFT, Feminist Therapy, and Narrative Therapy with individuals. I am currently pursuing a certificate in Neuro Emotional Technique.
