Humans are instrumental parts of larger systems, and each being has the capacity to shift patterns and create change in their life. I believe change comes from authentic connection and learning to cultivate a relationship with oneself. Together, I work with clients through a process of meaning-making to understand patterns or coping strategies that no longer serve them. Sometimes the interpretation and reactions to situations or relationships results in confusion. We will work together to revise and redesign new strategies for navigating challenges.
Theories that drive my practice with clients are centered around relational-cultural theory and internal family systems. I also work with lenses of attachment theory and developmental theories to explore clients within larger systems of interconnectedness. I engage with people collaboratively and experientially to help increase awareness and insights on how the heart, mind, and body work in unison to instill healing.
My expertise is working with clients to explore communication, barriers to reconnecting and forming relationships, self-worth and identity cultivation, and honoring grief as natural and inevitable. I enjoy working with teens, adults, couples, and families.
