DEBORAH K. MESTAS
MA, LCPC
It is her professional opinion that the most important aspect of clinical counseling is the development of a trusting relationship. Once that is established there is no telling how much progress can be made. Each client is an individual, each with their own specific needs and special attention is paid to the development of trust with each individual. This then allows the client to address their needs, concerns and express themselves in a way that is understood by both the individual and the clinician. This new meaningful understanding can move them toward positive change. Deborah’s caring concern, warmth and empathy help clients feel comfortable to engage in the therapeutic process and address their goals.
Deborah graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, IL in 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She went on the get her Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Argosy University Chicago on October 12, 2003.
